Watching his HUDL appears he has a mean streak. Will have to work on his pad level to succeed at the next level.
I like it. You have to have a better idea seeing them in person than watching film and going off what recruiting services think from highlight clips.

He looks like when he locks on a defender he either finishes him 15+ yards off the line or pancakes the dude. I like that kind of motor. Looks line a interior line more than likely..very impressive run blocker! Looks like a great addition!

I have no idea if this guy will be any good but why are we so excited by an Iowa native that didn't have an offer from either Iowa or Iowa State?

Don't want to get into a pissing contest over this because I don't care if Iowa offered or not, but based on a real-time check of those sites, Iowa did not offer Jake Peters.
Kid is a solid inside OL which we haven't been able to get it seems. You don't need to be 6'6 to play inside! Gimme the tough round midwest kids.
Only time will tell. Hopefully this coaching staff is great at identifying talent because this looks like a class for Tulane and the like. Just gonna have to wait it out.
We only wish we were as good as Tulane, lol.
We've got the longest streak in the Power 5 for not making a bowl game. There are over 40 bowl games. And we're dissing other programs. Good Lord.
