  • Will Iowa win another game in 2015?
  • Nebraska's new coach has finished 10-4 once in 15 seasons, 5-6 so far in his first season for the Cornhuskers.
  • We shall see on Black Friday, but it should be a good, hard fought, competitive game.
  • Both teams are confident that they will play well on Friday.
  • We shall see after Turkey Day!

I say congrats Hawkeye's, for the SI cover and the position they've put themselves in. We all know Nebraska has had our glory many times over, just been a while. But seeing some of this exposure has to be exiting for them. Come Thursday I fully expect the conversation to turn to what could have been for them and what a turnaround year it has been for the skers. Living on a coast I kinda like seeing the midwest teams get exposure and I would be all for the Hero's trophy to be the Nile Kinnick Memorial Heroe's trophy for a lot of reasons. Anyway, congrats and enjoy it while you can.

In the corporate reality of today ... the Heroes Trophy is likely the best, since others are also tied to it, now.

And then the last thing, just want to recognize both HyVee and American Red Cross for, again, the concept of this Heroes Game. I think it's a wonderful concept and certainly happy for the honorees this year and in past years, as well, but I just think the concept is first rate, and our association with Hy-Vee has been first rate, as well. It's a tremendous Iowa company and great leadership, and it's been a tradition there, and certainly Randy and all the folks there continue that on. So we're just thrilled to have that association with our program and them.
