According to a report from the Lexington Herald-Leader, Kentucky wide reciever transfer Hardley Gilmore IV was charged with misdemeanor assault on Dec. 7 for punching someone in the face at a storage unit.

Gilmore committed and signed with Nebraska on Wednesday. The Wildcats desperately wanted the freshman to stick around, this isn’t a case of him getting kicked off the team, he wanted to follow Daikiel Shorts to Nebraska. Huskers will likely allow the legal process to play out and address internally.
