in the nfl: jeremiah sirles...

It's interesting how many players the last staff recruited have made NFL rosters without necessarily being great players for Nebraska. The ones that stick out in my mind are Qvale, Sirles, Enunwa, and maybe Potter.

I believe Potter played for a few seasons as an NFL tight end, after playing at DE at Nebraska. I believe BC recruited him rather than BP, but still kind of surprising. I think and hope this current staff is better with roster management and player development, and they seem to be so far.

In the case of Enunwa, if he had redshirted, it seemed like he would have been poised for a big senior year, as he really established himself by the end of his last year at Nebraska.

The OL particularly didn't develop like they should have here. I always knew that Qvale was an NFL player. He wasn't coached up here.

I remember when Qvale was recruited, there were some very knowledgable people who were amazed by his potential. I hope he is able to show that in the NFL.
