Recruiting In-state 2026 LB Jase Reynolds commits to Nebraska

No no no. We aren't supposed to do this. Rhule clearly stated that past coaches recruited Nebraska too much and he's not going to do that anymore. (Sarcasm).

Congrats young man!

In this new era of recruiting, it is hard to figure the importance of high school vs portal recruiting. ISU seems to be cleaning up in Nebraska for 2026, but who knows if that matters. Other than the Omaha QB none seem to be rated super high. Is it considered a down year for Nebraska, especially Omaha?

Happy for the young man and good luck to him in Lincoln.

Original post at 9:57 am and I am post #8…very little excitement with this commitment for some reason…odd.

I've got a lot of respect for Iowa State. They have out produced Nebraska for what's gotta be going on 10 years now. Under hyped vs. Over hyped.

Smells like a token lone state commit. Kids somewhat of a tweener. Needs to add bulk play edge and maybe a little to long for what you’d want at LB. But with the way college football is now, you take him, see if the S&C can add bulk to him and if they can’t, you send him off to the Dakotas.

But good to get at least one instate kid cause I don’t see another, but could be wrong. Wouldn’t have expected an offer to him, Jase. Not much in state talent left. We know EJ won’t look at the kid from Millard south. EJ likely looking to battle Amherst College for a recruit. Then beg his agent to get him a bs “interview” somewhere else so people here will think he’s worth something
