I might be in the minority but I'm not ready yet to move on from him.
He's done everything required to build excitement around the program except win.
Has anyone looked at Miles' coaching tree? It's actually pretty impressive for a guy that came from zero. He has 3 former assistants who are some of the best coaches at the mid major level who will be positioning themselves for bigger jobs soon.
Niko Medved-now the Furman coach was with him at CSU
Saul Phillips-now the Ohio coach took over for him at NDSU when he left for CSU
Craig Smith-USD, was top asst here in year 1&2.
I really think our basketball program is cursed bc Miles seems to have all the check the box requirements a guy would need to be successful here. (Program builder, surrounds himself with a great staff, good recruiter, personable embassador of the program)
Doesn't make sense that it hasn't translated to wins, yet...
I ride & die with him at this point. I don't see a realistic upgrade on the horizon.
