That Ben Stille kid seems to be one of those in-state guys that I wish we would offer, instead of hoping for him to walk on.
I'm not saying the staff won't see his skill set and spring with an offer; I'm just saying he's the type that often slips through the cracks because assumptions or coach-preference that they'll walk-on and save an early scholarship offer for out-of-state recruits, instead. With his height and fairly good vertical, wrestling background (physicality), and athleticism and strength (top level in power push-ups) , man; if he can catch the ball, I could really see him at TE.
Some of the others don't have the measurable, even though they appear to be competitive, but Ben Stille is one I'd really like to see our staff show the love to and go after.
