I'm not joining the coach cav fan club yet. Granted we had injuries last year I'm giving coach cav 2 more years to produce results. His 2 year sophomorers will be in the system for 2 years. The 2 years he has been here have been very mediocre u know he inherited Bo's recruits. You need more than one all conference lineman to be a great offensive line. And his recruiting hasn't been great. If a 10th assistant got approved I'd be for a 2nd offensive line coach.

If you are only giving him 2 more years, consider the following:

-Injuries (as you said)
-Hybrid offensive line scheme with Tommy Armstrong, not a pro-style QB like his lines are used to blocking
-Can't exactly start 3 Redshirt Freshmen (4* Farniok, 4* Raridon, Decker)

I could add more points but those are the top 3 reasons why he deserves more than 2 years. If a 10th assistant coach got approved, Tavita Thompson is the only one they want to promote to such position.

I disagree. This may be the deepest OLine we've had in quite some time. Take a look at the RS Freshman that will be playing next fall and then throw in this recruiting class. I have a feeling you might be surprised.
The first year he was here it was Bo's recruits and had very little time to recruit.
Last years recruiting class mostly RS'd
This years class has a lot of talent.

I honestly think their are better coaches and recruiters than coach cav coach cotton was worse than coach cav

It was a joke. I was saying you don't have the authority to give him 2 years or 2 weeks.

It's one of those things that make me laugh when we message boarders give arbitrary deadlines for improvement, like we have some sort of say so.

This is a big year for Cav. Improvement on the line is a must. For sure.

Nope. Two years or he's out. I'm putting my foot down.

Starting experience at 4/5 of the psns plus competition for the backup spots. If the juniors hold up for the next two seasons, we will likely have juniors and seniors inheriting their spots. That's the way it used to be.

If he ain't worth a darn, we'll be hearing the injury, depth, youth, etc. excuses again next year.

One last thing...sorry. If Joe Rudolph, or Brian Ferentz, or Reese Morgan was coaching this group, we would all KNOW they are gonna be fantastic next year, as opposed to hoping they'll be good.

Miles or Cav?
