IL whipping Purdue

Well Debbie Downer, it actually should, if Purdue or Illinois blew us out, we'd be a lot worse of a team then we are now, that would plainly suck.

20-0 nearing half time, at Purdue. This is making me nervous.
This should make us nervous. Illinois is running all over Purdue like everyone else but Nebraska couldnt hit 80 yards against that defense. Am thinking there will be at least 50 throws today vs Sparty which spells doom for us.

Honestly, if we run it all game, we will get destroyed because i bet my house MSU shuts are run down completelt, even more with Cross as our starter and Newby out.

Hey now, we scored 45 points! Except for the four TDs it handed to Purdue on a silver platter, the sling-it-around offense was just gangbusters last week!

Purdue bitchslapped Nebraska. The final score may not be what you consider a "blowout", but watch the game again and tell me when you ever thought during the game, Nebraska was going to win. When it was 42-16 maybe? Give me a break.

Being one-dimensional against any good team is a bad idea - whether it's running or passing. Which is why you would think a team might want to at least pretend to be mildly interested in developing a running game at some point.

And Minnesota almost beat Michigan after we beat them, comparing one game to the next is pointless. Transitive property is flawed. Northwestern would be the best team in the pac 12 based on that.

Just so funny that people have these types of takes on here. You would think we are running the spread or the run and shoot offense with the way people talk...Like we are passing 70% of the time this year or something...

You do realize that our pass to run ratio is: 51% pass to 49% run right? That is pretty spot on to a balanced attack.

I guess NU fans dont consider our team running the football unless we have some 60% run to 40% pass ratio or something. If not, then Husker fans will say that we have "abandoned the run" ....

LOL

Yes, yes he is. Explain otherwise.

I don't know what anyone else was saying, but I wasn't claiming that by some transitive calculation we are screwed. However, in case anyone might have been thinking that our last opponent Purdue had improved a lot by the time they got to us, this week suggests otherwise. That makes me nervous about today and the rest of our games. Purdue's only win in conference is against us isn't it?

You mean we're gonna win the National Championship for the team with the most losses by the fewest points. AWESOME!!!

MSU will stack the box..we will be slinging it all over the place. If TA has a good night, we can hang in there and win. If they blitz him to death and he loses his cool, well it will get ugly.
