I wanted to start a thread for anyone on RSS that knew Sam Foltz, his family or even had a personal encounter with him over the years. Lets remember Sam by sharing any stories about what made him so special.
For me, even before today I always told people he defined everything it meant to be a Husker and was a throwback in a lot of ways. He was such a great human being on and off the field that loved to fish, hunt, farm with his dad, watch KC Royals baseball....but most importantly he loved Nebraska football. Meeting him for the first time after his junior year of high school you just knew there was something special about Sam.
