If we close with....

Rafdal, Blades, Daniels, Onyemaobi. Good class. Anyone else would be icing. If we also get Lewis, Thompson and Deommodore. ..Great class.
I am holding firm on Lewis, I really feel we get him. Also you are forgetting Greg Johnson

Thing is, I can't remember a time since I've been following recruiting that we've had such a good shot at so many high quality players at the end of the cycle. Usually it's one or two guys we are waiting for, and God help us if he doesn't pick us on signing day. With this many lines in the water we are in a great position to catch a lot of fish!

And for the rankings watchers we are #17 on Scout right now. Rivals has Chris Walker as a 2 star and that drags the ranking down. He is a 3 star. Rivals needs to adjust.

It won't really matter because Rivals only counts the top 20 commits for team rankings so as soon as we hit 21 Walker's ranking won't count anyway. I'm glad we have Walker in the fold. Solid player.

I get a kick out of our "fans" who said they "didn't even want Calvin anyway" or any remarks of the sort after he wavered for a while on Nebraska and other schools. If there is ever any chance on getting 4-star talent, we take it all day, every day.

Agree and the coaches need to utilize their talents on game day.

I totally agree with you on that one. You can teach speed and Calvin brings a lot of that to the table.

Also will probably finish 4th in the Big 10 overall behind OSU, Michigan, PSU and Maryland. MD is high because they have 28 or 29 commits right now.

More concerned with their offers than I am with stars, but I would also rather have star average than more lower rated recruits like Maryland.

I posted this Tuesday and I am sticking to my guns!
I think we get:

Rafdal at TE
Jamire Calvin at WR (Committed)
Thompson at WR
Daniels at NG
Elijah Blades at CB

We still have a shot at Greg Johnson too!

I'm with ya, except I think we get a D back instead of Thompson. Most likely Michael O, but holding out hope for Lenior.

Something I have noticed that nobody ever seems to talk about is Nebraska's lack of speed the past few seasons. Aside from DPE, B. Reilly, Westy (quick feet), we really did not have the quickness or speed to win 9 games last year. We played average teams and Mark Philip simply had our guys physically ready to win. These 2017 WR commits and early enrollees are a great step in the right direction for the Langs-Riley offensive scheme.

How many points is Elijah Blades worth for team ranking points?
Is my math correct?

5.9 Rating = 120 pts
87th overall = 35 pts
Total = 155 pts

As of right now, NU is at 1663 pts. Getting Blades would move us up to 1818 pts.

So if Blades committed tonight, we would move up to #16, right behind Clemson. Eek

looks like we got a bump up to #22 overnight, still the same 1663 pts, I'm assuming someone dropped

Strong chance that we finish inside the top 20 on rivals. We are currently 17 on scout, 22 on 247 composite, 25 on ESPN.
