If riley gets fired, what about the florida coach?

he did good at colorado state, and was one of the coaches to be considered for NU when riley was hired. maybe he just didn't fit in at florida...like charlie strong didn't fit at texas but is doing ok now.

all things considered, if riley doesn't win out (except penn state). Im for frost or the isu coach....but maybe that florida coach might work also?
 
No. He can handle all the little details that goes into being a successful coach. He won at Florida because the SEC East has been down. He would be another Bo type coach with the administration, fans and press. Do we want to go on that ride again? I think he a classic case of a good OC being promoted to Head Coach
 
I agree but then you would have to wonder if this whole thing would've happened at all if they were undefeated.

Or at least I don't think so.
There is not a coach in America that hasn't been "threatened" at about any level. People are assholes.
 
Sumlin would be a better lateral move type hire, imo. Of course McElwin is unemployed now so it wouldn't actually be a move at all for him.
