You will lose that bet... The SEC will be playing football come hell or high water, they won't care if they have an OT playing QB. I suspect the other 2 leagues will follow suit as well.

It's too bad we got caught up in the BS politics. It's pretty clear to anyone with half a brain what happened, just look at the map of who is playing and who isn't.
yep.. especially with ohio state out of contention.

I had no idea this was going to cause so much anger. You all might as well get used to the idea, it isn't going to happen this fall. Colleges are shutting down, you really think the Big 10 Presidents and ADs are going to move in the other direction? You can revel in the schadenfreude of all the other conferences' seasons going up in smoke in the next several weeks.

Good grief. You're all over the place, but I do see a common theme - "orange man bad". Do you ever question the bull the media feeds you?

1- Most people view standing for the national anthem as showing pride in our country and respect for those who have fought and still fight for it. I don't care what the kneelers say they're doing it for, because they don't get to change the meaning to fit their needs. That is what I was trying to convey with my rainbow flag example.

2- The feud between Trump and McCain was well known. Most people would agree that what Trump said about him during the '16 campaign was foolish. That said, McCain showed his true colors in the end. He's not missed by many.

3- Facts are not opinions. As an example, when I state that for every 10k arrests last year, the police killed 4 unarmed white people; and for every 10k arrests, 3 unarmed black people. That's a documented fact. Claiming that "blacks are treated differently by the justice system" is an opinion... one not supported by the facts.

4- Every single one of your other 'examples' are what others claim to have heard the President say. President Trump has been lied about far too much and his statements taken out of context for me to believe anything that's not backed up full, unedited video evidence. Just this past weekend a video went viral supposedly showing President Trump wandering aimlessly in the White House lawn and pointing to a puddle for no reason. It was manipulated to make him look like he's Joe Biden. Of course, the full video shows that he's walking over to meet his wife and to warn her about the puddle.

5- Shameful handling of the Khan situation? Please be specific.

6- "Trump denigrated the widow of Army Sgt. La David Johnson." Another example of "he said, she said". This was according to the widow. Funny how that hasn't been the case with the other families he called. It's almost as if she had other motivations?

7- Your examples of the indictments is a prime reason why many of us have absolutely no faith in our justice system. It's abundantly clear to all but the blind that we have a 2-tiered justice system. If you're associated with President Trump, they'll send heavily armed SWAT teams to arrest you in the early morning hours, harassing you and your 70-year-old wife, all while a CNN crew just happens to be there to record it all. If you're a Dim, you can get away with trying to run a coup against the President. To be perfectly honest, this is one of the things that may very well lead our country down the path of no return.

You have no idea the type of person President Trump truly is. You've been propagandized by the media that hates him. If he was truly such a terrible person, why has he risked so much to become President? What does he have to gain from it?
-He's almost certainly going to be the first person since maybe Carter to get out of the WH with less money than he had going in.
-He donates every penny of his salary.
-He stands for hours to shake the hands of cadets.

You should try looking outside your bubble and seeing the good the president has done. (there's a lot of it)
So much nonsense to address, but I'll pick on one in particular. Trump donating his salary, as if he's some selfless public steward. He takes in far more money from the Gov than his puny salary which he allegedly donates. For example, just one partial accounting, the ridiculous amount of days he spends in Palm Beach (he's spent more than a 1/3 of his reign in Trump properties), he charges us, taxpayers, you and me, $650 a night for Secret Service members. It was calculated that he's charged the Gov and been paid more than 1.2 Million for use of his props. Hell, Ivanka used Daddy's political appearances to hawk an upscale bracelets. When he won the election, he doubled the fees for joining Mar A Lago. He rents space in his buildings to State level entities from China and Dubai. Just straight up huckster moves. It's obvious that there is literally nothing Trump could do that would change your opinion of the man. Which says far more about you, than it does about Trump. Is this the same guy shaking Cadets hands who has openly denigrated service members and has no concept of civic duty? You just completely brush off verified media accounts of Trump saying and doing all manner of things that definitively define his shocking lack of character. On the other hand, you greedily accept any flim-flam nonsense offered up by dubious "media" resources. You see a coup? You can't admit to any grains of truth or valid concern in everything that Trump has been through? If a Dem would have been President and experienced the same things, would you have so easily deluded yourself into thinking no big deal? You aren't living in reality. Blacks treated unfairly is a fact. Black population in the US? 13.4 percent. Black population in US prisons? 34%. I do have a great idea of the type of person President Trump is, he's been a public figure for years. It isn't a mystery. He's a con man. A grifter. A game show host. A guy who was on a local TV show on 9/11, and he gushed about now owning the tallest bldg in NYC. He's that guy. He's grab them by the pussy guy. He's the guy who has went bankrupt 7 times and stiffed contractors multiple times. He's been married three times. He's been accused of rape, assault, or sexual harrassment by 25 women. He doinked the porn star, while married, and had Cohen pay her off. Reiterated his belief that the Central Park 5 were guilty despite the fact that DNA evidence exonerated them. So many lies too. Someone has succeeded in convincing you that 2+2=5. I have more respect for you than that. Educate yourself. Use legit media resources. People pimping Trump as some kind of altruistic savior don't have your best interests at heart. I do.

It’s so damn contagious you hardly know anyone who’s had it
patients in the UK referred for ECMO with respiratory failure (artificial lung support when a ventilator is insufficient)

APRIL 2019 - 82
APRIL 2020 - 898

median age on ECMO - 46
75th percentile of age - 56

Go get your vaccine and hide in the basement, bitch. Don’t forget your mask and goggles.

I couldn’t imagine being a scared, weak libtard.
In a pandemic, if one is going to opt out of preventive measures on the front end for C-19 there should be no expectation of advanced therapies on the back end for themselves or direct household contacts if they get sick

but alas many of these are the same ones insisting that “everything be done” if they become acutely ill

This is what happens when a ghoul is confronted with facts. Well done. Nice work. Great example of a Trump voter right here.

People won’t read your posts when they are in one giant paragraph. Go take some online classes to help.

None of them will get all their games in.
True. Don’t want to read the whole thread again, but was that the original bet? Big difference between not getting all the games in and not finishing.

The actual wording was...

"neither the SEC nor the Big 12 nor the ACC makes it through their whole schedule this year."

So that is the meaning I intended. If that was not entirely well-defined, I will graciously accept $50. ;)

this season is doomed. Collegians are gonna be collegial. This virus is so contagious there is just no way that it isn't going to decimate some locker rooms this season and introduce chaos and panic and probably lawsuits.

I have $100 that says neither the SEC nor the Big 12 nor the ACC makes it through their whole schedule this year.

Universities that are planning to let fans into the stadium are pure crazy.

Call me when there's a vaccine.
I accept your bet, I use cashapp fyi

Decimate? With healthy college kids, that could mean devastating sneezes and debilitating stuffiness...
