I feel I understand its importance more as I have grown a bit older. While there are fair criticisms after today's game, such as offensive line play and the sweep on third down. If you feel you have the right to personally attack kids playing a game then I feel I have the the right to call you out. You are not keeping the spirit of Husker Football in mind. Everyone wants to win, everyone wants championships, but true champions arn't made through winning. Champions are made by the life lessons that sports offer their participants. Maybe I'm hokey, maybe I don't have the alpha male "winning is all that matters" mind set. I do know this: what separates Nebraska isn't winning, many have won. What makes Nebraska great is class.

Dear Lord, the battles we go through life,

We ask for a chance that's fair,

A chance to equal our stride,

A chance to do or dare,

If we should win, let it be by the code,

Faith and Honor held high,

If we should lose, we'll stand by the road,

And cheer as the winners go by.

Day by Day, we get better and better!

The team that can't be beat, WON'T BE BEAT!
