In the past werent some husker sprinters during indoor season football players?

Just wonder if the rules or something changed that the top speed guys don't do both? Remember earlier post about Farmer wrestling.

yes .. the formula at Nebraska has always been to dominate the field events and supplement with some points in the sprints
nontraditional but seems to work
 
How could this happen? Besides women's volleyball we have a mediocre athletic dept. ;)

Congrats coach Pepin....the guy is a legend in T&F.

Just a couple of natl qualifiers plus the 4X400. But good depth below 800M and points in the field for the B1G. Squad is built to compete indoors.
