Huskers got a walk on and the name should ring a bell Barron Miles Jr...Link inside....

“You always have to be on top of the budget numbers,” he (Moos) said. In order to add athletes, “you either have to create more revenue or cut some expenses.

those cut expenses, in part, have been hard working Nebraskans in the athletic department that were let go
What were they working hard at? They were let go because of COVID and lost revenue projections. The bottom line is that IF Frost thinks the walk on program is essential for us to be successful then we better figure out how to pay for it. We have multiple guys walking on who played a lot of minutes of D-1 football this past season at other schools. I'm not a huge fan of a large walk on program just from a practice management stand point, but we would have been screwed these past few years without some of the walk ons who came out of the blue to start for us.

So grateful for the work you do to shine a light on all the shenanigans and monkey business going on in Nebraska. Keep bringing it! Gotta keep the fans from being homers.

Stand to lose 6 million per home game if stadium can only be at 50% capacity.

a lot more if games are cancelled - unclear if S Dakota St will be allowed to play as they aren’t doing intensive testing

things are going to need to operate much leaner.

South Dakota has this thing exactly right. Test the guys if you want before the game not now. How they would test now doesn't matter. They'll likely almost all have protective antibodies by the time September rolls around whether they're playing football or not. It's one of the reasons Worldometer has our death toll going to almost zero in this country by September 1st. Young healthy adults and teenagers doing what they're going to do no matter what the rules are is probably a good thing for our country.
