Did the NIL check bounce?
Coach Napier didn't hold up his end of the agreement in this case. Don't blame Micah for leaving
Now we know. And knowing is half the battle. GI Joe.Coach Napier didn't hold up his end of the agreement in this case. Don't blame Micah for leaving

He is from Philadelphia , will see where he ends upI read torn labrum, out for the season so wants to get closer to home ... we shall see
You mean like Thompson, Toure, Palmer and Drew?I understand the need for immediacy with the state of our OL but I hope we focus on building physical brutes, well practiced, and aggressive.
Scrounging the back lots for disgruntled and problem players has to this point been fruitless.
I wasn't aware that any of those guys were problem players. We've had some other dead weights that would better fit that bill. A lot of them. You mean like Thompson, Toure, Palmer and Drew?
Not sure this kid is a “problem player”. Oliver Martin left both Iowa and Michigan. I would say he was a pretty good addition for us.I wasn't aware that any of those guys were problem players. We've had some other dead weights that would better fit that bill. A lot of them.
“ players who only are in it for the money,”Don't know the story on this one but big warning sign here. Don't want disgruntled players, players who only are in it for the money or players that can't make a commitment that sticks. Not sure which this is but not a good look.
I was thinking it was the kid from Baylor. Not sure though. The tweet is unavailable… is this the kid out of Stanford? Don’t see a name other than Micah…
Kid from Baylor. Out for season with an injury. No idea why that would make him want to transfer though.I was thinking it was the kid from Baylor. Not sure though.
I believe this was a reference to Micah Mazzcua who was at Baylor and then transferred to Florida and has announced that he was leaving Florida. The tweet is unavailable… is this the kid out of Stanford? Don’t see a name other than Micah…
None of which are offensive lineman. You mean like Thompson, Toure, Palmer and Drew?
I’m not lobbying for him. I don’t think we need another average guard.None of which are offensive lineman.
He sure could fair catch pretty well I guess. The players you listed before were much better examples. Heck Trey had more yards and TDs in the Purdue game then Martin had in any season at Nebraska. Sorry but Martin was a bust that some how continued to see the field. Not sure this kid is a “problem player”. Oliver Martin left both Iowa and Michigan. He’s the poster child of guys who are practice stars but can’t produce when the big lights go on.

I think Rouse was from Stanford. The tweet is unavailable… is this the kid out of Stanford? Don’t see a name other than Micah…
Yes, Rouse was Stanford, a minute at Nebraska, and now OUI think Rouse was from Stanford.
Whole other subject which has infuriated me over multiple coaching staffs. He had some big catches for us. He did what he was coached to do on punts
He’s been gone for a while….where is he?I'll wait for the national analinguses thoughts on his labrum before I think anything, thank you very much.
The analytics are what drives that. The number of penalties when you return punts and kicks is insane. IF you don’t have Johnny The Jet returning punts the numbers don’t support returning many punts.Whole other subject which has infuriated me over multiple coaching staffs.
In a game of margins we have forfeited I wonder how many yards.
Yeah, but have you ever seen another team pinned against their own endzone as much as we have been the last 3 or 4 years? It's insane. The analytics are what drives that. Can you share that statistical data? I've got a link here to just raw return numbers, but reasons aren't included. The analytics are what drives that. I don’t have any data to support it, but I agree with Dinglefritz. The number of times, a team, Nebraska, or otherwise, would return a punt last year, and be flagged for a block in the back was crazy. It was so frustrating, and very intentional on the part of the NCAA to cut down on punt returns in my opinion. Can you share that statistical data? We returned 4 punts last year plus a block for a touchdown which counts but shouldn't. I believe almost all of those were in the Indiana game and gave us an advantage.
To which we also rarely provide much pressure to the punter so we have a disadvantage double whammy.

Is College Football Abandoning The Punt Return?
Fewer drives end in punts, and more punts are fair-caught.fivethirtyeight.com
Think about it though. Isn't that (block in the back) a result of a chronically poor coached team. Practice, practice, and practice. Practice and play with precision and discipline and you'll have a team that wins close games and most games. Add very good talent and you'll have a juggernaut. 90's Nebraska.I don’t have any data to support it, but I agree with Dinglefritz. Absolutely, and if it just happened to us, I would chalk it up that way. But it happened in every game I watched last year, whether it was the huskers or the gophers or even teams in the SEC.Think about it though.
