Husker nation mobilizing

You are going to like the new "Sun Life" stadium in Miami although it's still in the middle of a $400 million dollar renovation. Unfortunately the massive roof canopy and 4 huge corner HD television scoreboards won't be complete until next year but there are two of the largest HD television scoreboards in the country in place. It will be one of the nicest stadiums in the country when complete and the natural turf is in great shape.

Can you please give it a rest. I'm really tired of your negativity. Do you have to say something stupid in every thread? If one would see your post count they might think that you actually participate on these boards. All you're known for is trolling.
you left out my knowledge of the game and recruiting. #wiseup

Is it so hard to consider that a lot of people decided not to go to Miami because of the early season loss (in which our defense looked pretty bad?)

Why don't you block him if you're "really tired of ... negativity?"

Actually, it is kind of hard to consider. We're talking about a trip to Miami, not Kansas City. I would venture a guess that most people who are going have had the trip planned for a lot longer than a couple of weeks, and one loss probably wasn't going to derail those plans.

And no one has ever cancelled plans... or decides at the last minute...

Lots of people I know decided not to go after the BYU game. Maybe they were never going to go in the 1st place...

I seriously doubt you knew a lot of people that really were going to go to Miami and then decided not to just because we lost to BYU. Anybody who would do that is a worthless fan anyway, but as I said I doubt that's really the case-I think you're just exaggerating for dramatic effect to try to make as big of a deal about losing to BYU as you can(who you might have noticed is ranked #19 this week).

Yes. I am sure tons of fans are just gonna take the hit on plane tickets and other stuff they have paid for. Suhnami logic working well. You related to our resident preacher troll?

Majority of people that decided to go to Miami to watch Nebraska already decided this spring not after a Hail Mary.

What kind of fan is he or she after one heave to the end zone.

Heading down this afternoon.. can't wait to see how much red shows up tomorrow. I think Miami's overrated. They only won 6 games last year. We should win by a couple scores.

husker fans stayed loyal to the team for seven disasterous years of Bo Pelini, why does it surprise you that we are still supporting the team after 2 games under Mike Riley?
There`s a big distinction between simply supporting a team....and flying from Omaha for example. If you think that demand for tickets and therefore travel packages is not influenced by the wins and loss of a team...then you have no common sense. Of course there is still going to be a large contingent of husker fans going, but a lot less than if we`d won a national championship, for example

And even on a more recent basis...the loss to BYU, particularly for those fans that are within easy driving distance. Gosh....some people have no common sense....well...I guess it's not so common

Agreed, but you`re assuming that most fans are those that planned their trips far in advance. This is very shortsighted

Do we need all the name calling and insults? Your insecurity is showing.

What kind of alternate reality do you live in??? Most people who are leaving their home for several days, plan that in advance.

Unless you live in Florida and can drive, or have a very flexible work schedule and can take off at any time and have above average discretionary income to just take a trip on a wing and a prayer, then yes most fans planned a trip out of state (a long way out of state) many weeks, if not months in advance.

It may be an assumption that most people planned their trips in advace, but it's hardly shortsighted. It's the most logical, most probable and most realistic assumption. Anyone who cancels a trip to Miami based on a loss in a single football game either needs to get a life or have their head examined or both.
