That was a good read. I knew the d was in base personnel for alot of the game but I didn't realize it was for 80 of 89 plays. Showing improvement when in the nickel makes sense but going back to base and continuing to get burned makes 0 sense to me. I get putting it on film to learn from, but doing it to the point of almost losing the game? I have to believe they wont do that again. Offense showed some really nice flashes. If they can protect lee and stay healthy everything else will fall into place. Really like the wr's they are dangerous. Bryant looks real good and so does Hoppes. Need to see a bit more of the other rb's and te's but so far so good.https://huskerchalktalk.com/2017/09/03/sunday-recap-stranger-things-man/

Wow. Thanks for this link. I had not seen this site before. The article was excellent and informative. It really does add credence to the view that Diaco was playing a very vanilla defense. I also did not know that we did not pull our guards much last year on running plays. First time I have actually seen that mentioned.https://huskerchalktalk.com/2017/09/03/sunday-recap-stranger-things-man/
