On B1G+ right now vs. Maine in PBA. 9-2 Huskers at the first break. Maine looks terrible but I like the intensity so far from our boys. Juwan Gary is going to quickly become our favorite player. If he was bigger we would have an elite rebounder.

Maine is really bad, we’re just sneaky bad…somehow. A small part of me was hoping this would be basketball’s “Georgia Southern game.”

Hoieberg may win a few conference games, but Nebraska still will be playing the first day of the B1G tournament and that won’t be good enough to retain him for 23-24 season..
Omaha or Pine Bluff will beat us. Every year Hoiberg loses to some crappy no-name school early in the season.

We need to hire Barry Collier back. He won a few more games than Hoiberg. This is the only answer. Where’s Barry coaching now?
believe Pine Bluff missed a shot at the buzzer to beat top 20 TCU last night. UNO was only down 7 with 16 min left to Kansas.
Everything Maine threw up went in at the beginning of the second half, and the team did not fold I was impressed
I still think we win 5-7 games total. I don’t see any wins in conference and a lot- a lot!- of blowouts. Fred will resign due to “health reasons” before the season ends. And I’m a season ticket holder since 1985 who has been through a lot of bad seasons. This may be the worst.
