How will Nebraska finish

Every game in the Big Ten that does not involve OSU, Mich & PSU is a toss up. 11 below to very below average 'power' 5 schools fighting it out. None of which are more than 3 points better than any of the others.

I see us winning out and go 9-4 with a B1G championship at the end. We then get an invite to some major bowl and beat a big name team to end 10-4.

Then I woke up from my dream. 6-6 is my best guess. A lot depends on our QB situation and whether we can get this wretched offense to score a few points. It is just sad that this defense is being wasted on a team that literally does not have a QB on its roster. I think we should start Purdy. I do not think he is all that good but crap almighty the two guys ahead of him are awful.

My point is that even though I think we will find a way to squeeze out one more win, it is not guaranteed and this season could end as a huge flop with us going 5-7

I think we lost at msu because they executed a trick play, got lucky with the refs, and we didn’t let Haarburg scramble run until we had to, to protect him after that wicked hit last week at Purdue. Look what happened when HH did run at the end. I think we throw caution to the winds, let him run when he wants to and end up 7-5.

BTW, if they did keep HH from running, it means they know what they have in CP, and it’s not good, even after the surgery.

The coaches didn't keep HH from running. And his long run was against a defense that was bailing in a prevent pass defense. It wasn't like the coaching staff all of the sudden took the handcuffs off of HH.

I agree with the sentiment that HH needs to run. When he broke on that long run it looked to me like he almost slid despite there being a lot of good real estate in front of him. HH is not some franchise qb who needs protection. Strikes me as a tough kid. His runs are about all we got to hang our hat on.

I can’t imagine we can score enough to beat MD. Wisconsin is away and a bad match so a loss. Iowa will just keep punting until we throw a pick or fumble deep in our territory and kick 3 field goals and an int return for td while we maybe score once…. 5-7….

I am hopeful we finish right between the eyes of the myriad detractors on this board

Well he doesn’t slide much before but he tried to in that game. So I wouldn’t be too sure about that.
