How Does Rivals Calculate Rankings/Points?

Seems like this pops up occasionally. Google does reveal the answer (well, the web address). I want to use this in another post, but don't want to bog down the other post.

It's all in the rating (i.e. rivals rating 6.1, 6.0,..., 5.2 and Top 250 rating bonus). Only the top 20 commits/signees are counted for the rivals ratings portion, but Top 250 rating bonus is added regardless of number of commits. This calculation method has been used since 2013. So, add up points based on rivals rating and apply bonus where applicable.

Rivals Rating = Points
6.1 = 150 points
6 = 135 points
5.9 = 120 points
5.8 = 105 points
5.7 = 90 points
5.6 = 75 points
5.5 = 60 points
5.4 = 45 points
5.3 = 30 points
5.2 = 15 points

Rivals 250 Bonus Scale (all commitments)
#1= 100 points
#2= 83 points
#3= 82 points
. (decrease by 1 point for each lower ranking)
#24= 56 points
#25= 55 points

#26-30= 53 points
. (decrease by 2 points for every 5 lower rankings)
#56-60= 41 points

#61-65= 40 points
#66-70= 39 points
. (decrease by 1 point for every 5 lower rankings)
#241-245= 4 points
#246-250= 3 points

5.8 -> 120 (105 + 15 bonus for 190th ranked player)
