Just feeling awful tonight. What a cruel twist in a young and promising life. It hurts to imagine a fourth down without his booming kick. It hurts to imagine senior day without #27 from small town USA. It hurts to refer to him in the past tense.
I love Nebraska football but love the kids who commit and play for all of us so much more. It will never seem possible to imagine this year without him.
