Our best chance to start recruiting really well is to pull off a few nice wins during the year. Calvin is good but I don't think he would've made that type of difference in his true freshman year. Next year is all about the players already on the roster (only a darnay/Lewis would be expected big time as frosh). I'm going to hope that Tanner Lee is the real deal and can do for us what other really good quarterbacks do for their teams. If that happens, we will have progress and can START recruiting consistently well. We'll need to shock one of those teams in 2018 to keep it going well too. My sites are not set on a national title anytime too soon. I wish they were but it's too unrealistic. I hope we do well enough to make recruits take notice. Recruit a little better next year, show some results and recruit a little bit better than that the next year... I was hoping this would be a great class that closes the gap quicker but it looks like slow and steady will be what happens. Fingers crossed for Jody L...
