Holy ballz I can't even get into the site to get Spring Game tix

Keep trying, and don't use "best available". I might be able to get two in the SS if anyone is interested.

Did anyone go to the ticket office this morning and if so did you have any success?

Over/under on the cheapest Spring Game seat on StubHub. I'm going with $50.

They also shouldn't have allowed people to buy 20 seats (and I think you could buy more in the end zones). Because in actuality they are just encouraging scalping. 8 should be the max. But maybe no one was expecting this much demand.

Huskers be crazy.

Just crazy! I'd still try and call the ticket office on the phone ... got to believe once the dust settles on these first 2 days there should be a few tickets they've held back to take care of "certain special donor" type folks. Good luck! By the way, I'm a season ticket holder who luckily got thru on the phone yesterday at 10:02 and requested seats in the club seating area are was told they are already gone ... wth? All club seats gone in 2 minutes? Impossible unless season ticket holders in club seating were given even earlier privilege to purchase club seats. Did get seats in the east balcony 106 but the clamor being caused by the "hope" of the return to true Husker Football is unlike anything I have seen ... 65 years old and seen a ton over my life here ... this is unprecedented.

Its what happens when you get a great coach (not Mr. .500, not Mr. piss himself, and not Mr. doesn't respect the culture).

The cheap prices contribute to this demand (especially the free kids) but it's likely a reflection about renewed confidence in the program

GBR

Frost coming back is huge but not even the Osborne teams in the 90’s sold out spring games.

I got 6, I might them sell them for $100 each :p j/k, taking friends and family.

I finally got through to the ticket office and they told me they are sold out of their allotment. Looked on stub hub and cheapest we're $75 that's rediculous. I was going to bring my whole family we go every year because its actually affordable compared to regular games and now we can't go.

SnubHub...Just asking, how do they get their tickets, just like anyone else? This happens for concerts as well. Tickets get sold out online (usually the first day for good shows), and vendors like SnubHub have an abundance at huge mark up

They really need to look into only 8 tickets max to buy..
Ludicrous for them to buy 20 tickets. Still might go down on game day and see what scalpers are selling them for..

Feel sorry for families that don’t have an opportunity to go to regular games but can’t afford the spring game and now that is all in the wash.

I have to think the university meant well. They were trying to reward season ticket holders. Fair enough. That being said, the approach was a bit short sighted. I would anticipate changes for next yr. Cap to the early release as will as a much smaller cap to the number of tickets per person would make sense. 30K cap for STH early release and 8-10 ticket limit. Part of the allure/magic of the spring game is that it was a family event. This yr's will not be that.

Yeah, it's a game to take younger kids to that you wouldn't normally for a real game.
I think the 60k season ticket added with the max of 20 seats is...stupid. But they want to sell as many as possible, at the end of the day they want to make money.

Currently at $39.99 for cheapest ticket(single only). There are some ridiculous prices out there, like a 1-20 seat off for $699 each... dumb

Heck, why even go that high for the number of tickets an individual STH can buy? Make it one-to-one for the early-bird STH special (You have two season tickets? You can buy up to two spring game tickets), then have them join the rest of the crowd for additional seats if it's going to be like this.

If you did that and broke it up into two separate days to purchase tickets then you would have to have a “sit wherever you can” rule (first in sit wherever there are seats) so you could sit together with your family. I’m sure THAT would go over real smooth.

Correction, it's not an affordable GAME to attend it's a practice to attend. 8th grade and lower are FREE. The weather will play a huge role. Completely agree with others...just show up and you'll likely find a tickets at face cost.

SoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooD Outttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt.

I wouldn't beat the university up too much. I believe this is the first ever spring game sell out :p It isn't a problem they are likely to need to deal with on a yearly basis.
