True, but it will open the flood gates even more. This time to minors who will be completely at the mercy of the competency/intentions of adults.
Isn't this already legal in a few states? California for one?
Sweet move to, can't think of a better way to help teach kids how special they are because they can run fast amd jump high...this will no doubt lead to kids studying harder just in case athletics don't work out...and reasonable parents who will have no probs with their lil Johnny not starting and teachers will never be put in terrible situations when they have to fail a kid because he thinks he is to cool for school and doesn't have to study and pass because obvioisly he's going pro.

And the law suits will start to trickle in because most of these phenoms will be minors, won’t read the fine print and claim ignorance and want their pay day.
