So...I know that I left about seven weeks ago with no explanation. Unfortunately that kind of coincided with the departure of Dan and of course I have missed out on helping out with the spring game, Rivals Summer Camps, etc. and believe me I have missed it.
I have a day job and on April 13th the union side of that job in the northeast walked away from their job so I went to replace one of the workers in Auburn, NY. I was working 12 hours days, seven days a week the first three weeks, got a day off, went back to 84 hours weeks for a couple more weeks then got home for three days.
The last two and a half weeks or so it's been more of the same...averaging 72 hour work weeks. Of course this schedule prevented me from doing much of anything besides eating, laundry, sleeping, etc. I wished that I could have been any more active on here than I was, but it was simply not possible.
But I am coming back. I am sitting in the Charlotte terminal today and will get a chance to go to my son's baseball practice tonight and the end of the year program for my kindergartner tomorrow. I will be back in action around here starting Sunday or early next week and I can't wait!
