Way to many passing plays and no NU fullback highlights, this video is invalid.
Was more so to kill the curse. I believe it workedBy running the FB trap on the first play of the spring game, he tricked our opponents into constantly watching for it and over-planning how to stop it.
it's like having a clutch in your vehicle, kids wont even steal it nowdaysI like the use of the fullback in the run game. A lot of defenses don't know how to account for that anymore. But the fullback can block for the most part, he doesn't need t o run the ball.
So true and hilarious at the same time!!! Kind of sad too.it's like having a clutch in your vehicle, kids wont even steal it nowdays![]()
It was not about the video, dude. It was about using the FULLBACK to max potential. We have 5 on the roster, 2 of which ran the ball very well in high school. The also probably didn't fumble a lot.nice compilation of service academies and P5 teams from nearly a decade ago
let's rejoin the present now
We’re using them a lot to help prop up our crap OLIt was not about the video, dude. It was about using the FULLBACK to max potential. We have 5 on the roster, 2 of which ran the ball very well in high school. The also probably didn't fumble a lot.
But for all the pre-season BS about using the fullback, and only 2 carries? Just saying.
OK, but only 2 carries out of 244 rushing attempts? I'm a Badger Grad and a Husker Dad X 2. Nebraska in the day, and Wisconsin up until last year, used the fullback effectively. We’re using them a lot to help prop up our crap OL
It’s been reasonably effective
Lol @ our slow unskilled guards attempting to trap blockOK, but only 2 carries out of 244 rushing attempts? I'm a Badger Grad and a Husker Dad X 2. Nebraska in the day, and Wisconsin up until last year, used the fullback effectively.
3 to 5 yards a pop on a run. And then a inside FB trap and you bust them for 15 yards when they break through. And no FB fumbles!!!!
And then a fullback pass screen. Man, those plays were things of beauty.
Ok. Against Northwestern's speedy lineman or their All-American linebackers?Lol @ our slow unskilled guards attempting to trap block
And lofl @ our nepotism OL coach attempting to teach it
What “Fullback play” do you want to use?Ok. Against Northwestern's speedy lineman or their All-American linebackers?
No Fullback play will work?
Just want to go to a bowl game this year, man. See you there if we use the Fullback.
What “Fullback play” do you want to use?
Context? Or are you bothered by a common figure of speech?
Juszczyk has 3 carries in 6 games. The 49ers use the fullback to great success. To say its old fashioned is myopic at best...
Top 20 rushing offense, so I guess yeah - reasonably effective! We’re using them a lot to help prop up our crap OL
