We lost, wasn’t the refs fault. Now can you answer the question?Every losing team in every football game complains about the refs. It deflects from the fact that they are a losing team.
The single most predictable thing in every football game is that fans of the losing side will complain about the refs. The fact is, there are blown calls that go both ways-- calls that were made or not made-- but the winning team doesn't need to focus on that fact the same way as the losing team. It is a way for the losing team to feel a little better about losing, like they have been victimized and can then play the "it's unfair!" game. All the wrong calls did go one way and it does matter. This didd not seem typical or normal to me, at all, far from it. Again, not why OSU won, not why we lost and no one has said otherwise. But today’s officiating was not on the up and up.The single most predictable thing in every football game is that fans of the losing side will complain about the refs. Were those calls wrong? At least two of them were. It really doesn't matter.
Bad calls like the targeting calls do matter, genius. Now the Huskers are down 2 starting db's for the first half next week because of bullshit calls. Tell me how that doesn't matter. Tell that to the two young men who did nothing wrong but pay a big price for it.
