Hell of a run NU had

What I love about the FSU run is they weren't just in the Top 25, most of the time they were in the Top 5. Here's where they finished each in that span...

1989: 3
1990: 4
1991: 4
1992: 2
1993: 1 (ew)
1994: 4
1995: 4
1996: 3
1997: 3
1998: 3
1999: 1
2000: 5
2001: 15

And then they finished #3 in 1988 and #2 in 1987

Winning bowl games helps.

As does playing bowl games in your stadium or right down the street.

What would you make the over/under for where bama's streak ends?

I still miss being in the Top 20/25 and wondering how the results of each week's game would affect us in the polls.

Damn, that's been a long time.
Right?

"Oh man, so Tenn and FSU lost...that means NU will probably get to, 6, maybe 5 this week?"

If you're a very good coach and you coach in Florida, the sky's the limit. Imagine if TO did.

Interesting list and nice to see us at the top. Hopefully start another run under soon.

Honestly I wouldn't have expected Colorado had such a long run. Never realized that. At least not before LSU, USC, Penn State, Tennessee and a few others.
