As we began to lock in the relationship for 2016, we learned that they had changed programming providers. Since BTN was another $40 a month, they dropped it months ago.
We opened up our search and found that the big sports bar in Concord, NH had also changed programming providers and dropped BTN because it cost $40 a month.
It may be that these two data points indicate an underlying trend in other areas of the country.
What we did was to open up a GoFundMe account so that our members could donate and used that money to pay for BTN to be added at our Watch Site for September, October, and November.
The excess money will go to buying the first round for the first 10 people who come to the Fresno State and Wisconsin games.
Should be a win-win-win.
