2002 Independence Bowl vs. Eli Manning & 'Ole Miss.

On @ 1am Central time (Friday April 21st).

Strange play call in this game where for some reason NU ran a fake punt on their own end of the field...and failed, giving 'Ole Miss the short field. Huskers never really recovered from this goof-up. DeJuan Groce returns a punt for a touchdown in this game I believe.

Watch if you dare.

I was at that game. Got a little vocal when we were called for p.i. and it was uncatchable

The only thing I remember about that game was that horrible fake punt call. Otherwise a very forgettable game.

Didn't we run a HB toss pass with Judd Davies at the end of the game? You knew something was up when he lined up in the I-back spot. It was peak Solich predictability.
