I hope he does real well down there and competes for the Big 12 championship. He'll show some of the Nebraska naysayers he's a good coach and recruiter. I'm glad he's getting a second chance.

Yup - dude can flat out coach, and is a tireless recruiter. Hires great assistants also. Best coach NU has had since Osborne; quite possibly better than Dr. Tom ?

Okay that last sentence means you’re either either a dip$&it or mommy and daddy dropped you on your head way to often..

Wish he would have shown the naysayers while he was at Nebraska.

I'm glad he's getting a chance also. That said I couldn't care less how he does at UCF. He was the worse coach Nebraska has had in my lifetime and arguably ever...and I'm over 50 ,I'm a man lol.

Seriously ill always respect and remember Frost the player in a good light. But Frost the coach? Honestly can kick rocks...

Holla

So does he reunite with any former assistants? Does Chins head back to the warmth of FL and leave the smurf turf behind? Barrett Ruud maybe?

More importantly, will the local paper do a multi day spread with illustrations about how they got him to come back?

He's not going to show Nebraska fans anything. He can go undefeated the next 20 years at UCF and he's still a loser that stole $40M from Nebraska while doing nothing except look clueless 100% of the time. I'll be rooting against him and I hope he fails. If he has success I guarantee at some point you'll be watching a broadcast and the insinuation will be that he was somehow treated unfairly at Nebraska.

Honestly I don't see him being successful. After watching him coach here I'm left with no choice but to conclude that his success at UCF was an illusion created by luck and circumstances. The guy did NOT know how to coach at Nebraska. His game plans were terrible. He had no ability to adjust. When adversity hit he stood on the sideline slow-blinking with his arms crossed. He repeatedly provided chalkboard material to other programs. You can go on and on. He just wasn't good and I don't see that magically changing just because he's not in Lincoln.

Screw him. His sorry ass had one year where his record was above. 500. I'll chuckle every time I see UCF getting punked.

Plenty of good coaches in the south, Frost needs to get guys he doesn't have any ties to that are proving themselves, the buddy system worked there once, I doubt if it would again. Get solid coordinators and coaches and be the motivator coach who lets his staff take care of business. I wonder how much cash UCF has these days?

UCF vs Nebraska A battle of two teams trying there hardest find a way to lose but someone has to win.

He’s the worst coach in over 140 years of Neb football. He treated the opportunity like a night at a college bar. Whether he succeeds or fails at UCF…I don’t care. He was horrible and got paid 100 plus more money while here than what TO got paid in 25 years. Godspeed Scott - ya dork.

Frost needs guys that are going to keep him accountable and focus. There is a reason he only had one winning season. And that one season was probably more due to the amazing senior leadership from the players and not Frost.

It will probably only take half a season to find out if Frost has learned from his mistakes or not.

Do you care? Does anyone? Honestly curious.

I’m sure most people here just want to forget about him, but I am curious to see how he does. I probably won’t be watching any UCF games unless it’s part of a multiview window though.

His offense put up some numbers. He’ll win some games at UCF.

I get that. Nothing wrong there.
