I am looking for help for a great bar in the Haymarket for great atmosphere and drink. Our spot for the past few years was always Yowie's as we liked the outdoor seating and it seemed to have great game day atmosphere. Since they have closed, has another bar/restaurant moved into that location? For years we always enjoyed Barry's, but either I aged 20 years in the last 2 years or the crowd got really really young. It got to the point where I felt the place was going to get raided and it was impossible to get a cocktail. What's RSS's Haymarket go to on game days?
Edit: I am simply bumping my post from a year ago. I received a bunch of great helpful responses. My group has a knack for shutting places down, as we moved our pregames to Legend's and now they are done in the Haymarket as well. Yowie's did open up for a few game days last season, which was nice. Hoping they may do this again. Anyone have any insight what will take Legend's or Yowie's locations? We really like the location and the outdoor game day atmosphere. Any recommendations? TIA
