I am one of those that always wants to cheer for one team or the other, no matter who is playing. I just cannot be neutral and enjoy a game. Heck, if nothing else I choose a team with red state vs blue state as the criteria.
Ped-U: I don't like their fans (got treated badly in Happy Valley), attitude about Joe Pa (he must have been oblivious) and don't want them to be yet another force to deal with in the Big 10.
USC: Recuiting battles directly against them that could tilt towards them with a win, arrogance, their sense of entitlement, geography... the list goes on and on.
As I write this, Ped-U is somewhat tanking, so it may not matter but still early in the game.
Which would be better for NU, a Ped-U or USC win?
