Harrison Beck

I think he just had other interests besides just football. I don't blame him for that.

Give it a listen: http://www.omaha.com/sports/podcast...cle_030a83b4-be8b-11e7-9ecb-5ff76a15e429.html

I listened to about half yesterday. The guy is interesting, like maybe not as cerebral as Mike Leach, but as interesting as he is. I couldn't keep listening because I was at work, but it's entertainment, for sure.

Where I got to, not much bad about Nebraska. Actually complementary, just wanted out because he's impatient. He thinks he should be in the NFL today. Literally.

I’ll never forget that on the day he committed they interrupted local tv broadcasts to announce he committed to Nebraska. His recruitment was handled like a rock star coming to town.

This is worth a listen. Harrison is an interesting dude for sure. He's an open book. Lots of great stories and a behind the scenes look at Nebraska football and recruiting.

I could only stand listening to 20 minutes of it and I had to turn it off.

However, I did learn that Harrison Beck is a huge fan of HARRISON BECK!!

I listened to it all and enjoyed it. The earlier poster who compared him to Uncle Rico was spot on: uncle harrison can throw 85 yards and should be in the NFL.

That dude always looked like he was ready to put 50 on.
But he went right past that 50 didn't he?

Beck almost single-handedly led us to victory over Kansas St in one of the most important games of Callahan's time as coach.

-Tackle prevented a pick six TD.
-His 1 completion was for 6 yds and a key 1st Down.
-Picked up another huge 1st Down by drawing a 'roughing the qb' penalty.

One of the most amazing non-amazing winning performances from a Husker QB evah!
