Harbaugh and Michigan under investigation

I’m not sure the B1G or the NCAA have the nuts to nail Michigan. They’ll have to write I’m sorry 10 times on the blackboard and that’ll be it☹️
Not so dingle. It of course depends on the violations but, if Harbaugh lied, that rachets up the seriousness of anything that occurred (It's not the crime, it's the cover -up). If the violations are only analysts performing on-field coaching acts, that isn't too serious. Literally every one does it -- remember when Les miles was dumb enough to film practices with his analysts doing the coaching When Pat Narduzzi did it, he gave his managers a list of songs to play as a warning in casa any compliance officer came around. Other coaches don't get too worked up over this kind of stuff, as they all do it.

However, what is seriously frowned upon are violations of the protocols and limitations in place during the virus silliness. You wanna piss off a coach, just tell him that another guy in his conference had more phone calls, more face-to-face contact, more visits (either on or off-campus). Coaches go crazy over that stuff due to the perceived advantages it gives to the other guy. Also, the Covid limitations were clearly spelled out and everyone knew them. If those were violated, they were intentional. Intent also increases the seriousness. See Arizona State's pending case.

Finally, if Harbaugh lied, he was really stupid, as the Infractions Committee takes such things very seriously (and you can already see how it increases the issues, as it is a Level I violation). If he lied, regardless of the underlying violations, he'll get dinged. How much remains to be seen, and it may depend on whether he's still employed by Michigan at the time of the hearing or jumps to the NFL. As you might expect, schools tend to support their coaches. But if he leaves, he becomes a convenient scapegoat that the institution can blame everything on in an attempt to avoid institutional sanctions. Hard to say at this time what's going to happen, but start popping the popcorn

And I should add -- Michigan had a case during the RichRod era of analysts doing on-field coaching. That means the school was told by the Infractions Committee to provide specific education regarding these issues, which one can only assume they have been doing. So it will be hard for the coaches to say they were unaware of the violations as they occurred, if these types of violations actually took place. This too could increase any potential punishment. Stay tuned -- lots could happen.

The Big is all about COVER - up. This conference acts like elitist and morally superior. Covered up some of the grossest scandals possible. Well unless of course you say you want to play football..... Then they want to give ya the boot.

So apparently this is all because Harbaugh took some recruits to breakfast and then said he didn't recall when asked about it. I loathe Michigan but the NCAA is a complete joke.

Hashbrown casserole is no laughing matter!!!!! You want in my wifes pants...Cracker Barrell hashbrown casserole works everytime....at least for me anyway.

Amazing, and if they won we wouldn’t hear about it until next week.
It happens quite often that schools ask the NCAA to delay announcements. The association almost always obliges. There is a blanket moratorium on negative announcements throughout March madness

Is it? Thats not what I an hearing. If true, my admiration for Harbaugh not only ends but a former Husker doesnt deserve to wear the red N.

So it's a violation for him to buy a kid a cheeseburger on a recruiting trip. But perfectly fine for them to recruit other teams' rosters with huge NIL deals? Yep, that makes perfect sense.

B1G is also tradition based. Everything is tradition in this pile of shit conference. Including cover ups and lack of integrity. But as long as you are AAU then you are good.

Hey, didn't Eric Crouch and Nebraska get dinged by the NCAA for eating a $4 ham sandwich at the home of a Nebraska Regent's friend?

You are dead wrong.

It was lunch and he bought two hamburgers.
