Hank has been President of the University of Nebraska since 2015 replacing Harvey Pearlman who, by his own admission, was not a big sports fan and obviously was a bit jealous or envious if Tom Osborne. Hank is familiar with big time football at the elite level and he is out and out an overall sports fan. I think he gets Nebraska and how football fits into the culture if the state. So, from my vantage point he is a net strong positive for Nebraska athletics. Having said all that and seeing him on the sidelines having conversations with recruits leads me to believe that he's a Riley supporter. After all, wouldn't it be hippacritical for him to be on the sidelines espousing the virtues of Nebtpraska and the football program if he was going to dump a Riley at the end of the year. How many of those recruits he was whispering sweet nothings to would sign on the dotted line next February?
