To be fair, the defense was still maligned. They just had a good enough first quarter to keep Sparty in the 30s.

The offense putting up 39 (could've been over 40 if not for missed 2 pt conversions) with some running output against this MSU defense was key

To me, the key was sticking to the power running more in this game than we had in any of our previous games. Hopefully, this means Danny L has finally learned that a Cross/Jano combo is a good thing.

Not at all. Rilllllley is still just an average coach. One good game doesn't change that. Only championships can do that.

To me, this is what happens when a team is trying to find themselves. They got put behind the 8 ball after the first game with a fluke play and really questioned themselves after things didn't go their way after that. Hopefully this is the game the light goes on and they believe they can be good.

As far as talent, this team has some talent, but lacks talented depth(if that makes sense).

This was a great win for us.
Tonight the HUSKERS gave it a full 4 Qtrs.
We are a good team and would up hold the honor of being invited to a bowl if possible.

I don't get to see many N U games but when I do, I swell with pride when the young men play like this!
