Some back story......On May 15th my brother in law was diagnosed with Leukemia. 2 days later Cal, his nephew, was diagnosed with Lymphoma. It has been a tough last month on all the families. Cal had heard about a kid from Texas Tech who was a lefty and had Cancer when he was young. It turns out Texas Tech had planned on coming to UNMC to see the pediatric patients but their game was rained out. Cal's last treatment was on Wednesday and he wasnt going to be able to meet Dylan who had cancer when he was 6. UNMC got Cal tickets to go to the game yesterday and meet Dylan. Very cool of Dylan to spend time with him. Some good has come out of a shitty situation. I know Cal was on cloud 9 meeting him. If you don't have a team to root for at the CWS. Texas Tech has my vote!.
