Agreed! What happened his senior year? For some reason I remember Twilleger playing a lot and being upset that he could’ve help them more.
Good guy. Very hard worker and he bleeds Husker red. Although for some reason he has been wearing a lot of Georgia gear last season.
Farley was one of my favorite Huskers. The guy had a nose for the ball and was consistently one of the first to make the tackle. Easily one of the best LB NU has ever had!
Nebraska's best defensive player since I have been watching them back in 1983, imo.
Just hope that in the future we can find guys with that kind of heart, hustle and want to win and be great.
I remember hearing raves about him when he arrived on campus and wondering how accurate they were. Then he gets the pick six right off the bat against OSU and was all over the field. I thought damn, for once the good things I had heard were understated.
Farley should be on Steve Spurrier's and Danny Wuerffel's Christmas Card list. If he stays on the team in 1996, we win the big 12 and beat Florida State in the national championship game.
