Good call...bad call...don't give a crap. Great effort and win!

I'll take it.. Wow is all I can say.. Horrible call but we've been on the other side of some of those.. Just wow

I think it was a good call. The defensive back did run him out of bounce.

MSU head coach has got to be kicking himself for going into field goal mode and then having to punt, and then playing prevent defense. Totally out smarted themselves MSU did. But credit to Nebraska, those kids never gave up.

Yep i don't give a crap either, call it one bad call all you want. If i remember hearing this over and over again, ONE PLAY DOESNT MAKE THE GAME. We WON plain and simple.

Seriously red rover, that was a terrible call. If this would have been called on us at that point in the game we would have been crying for a week. Running him out of bounds - no way. But it really doesn't matter, it is over and I suspect we will see some review on this one like the Miami game. I was quite shocked it was not overturned. But I will take it.

It was a bad no-call, but they put themselves in a position to be beat by 1 bad no-call. The drive started on NU's 9yd line and they drove the entire field in less 41 seconds. #Boom! Can we get Steve Spurrier to stand on the sideline every game? He seems to be good for the Huskers.

It helped make up for the No Call on the play Alonzo got hurt on. That likely would have been 6 if the DB hadn't pulled Zo's arm back.

He ran him out of bounce. Did he shove him with the arms extended... No. But Charles Barkley will attest that a butt can do just as good of a job pushing an opponent wherever you want him to go.

So what, even if it was a bad call, we have gotten how many crap calls go against and we lose the game? It happens to everyone at some point. Let it go and let it be, HUSKERS WON. Should of figured they'd be some haters trying to down play the win in someway.

I didn't think it was a bad call. I think in the NFL, you are out and it is final. Reilly was shoved out and established himself back in with 2-3 steps before he caught the ball. It was legal by college standards. It was mentioned earlier too that the Huskers should have got the obvious pass interference call earlier with Moore, but they didn't. The ref was just as close on both calls. They got it right with Reilly I think.

It is all over the net to review and is being talked about. Absolutely no way. Even in half speed he was going out of bounds on his own. I will take it, call it a make up call, call it a missed call, call it whatever, but it was a bad call overall. Over and done but you can't tell me if this call was against us that we wouldn't be talking about it all night long.

I thought the DB used his body and his arm and ran our guy out of bounds. I have no problem with the call.

You sound like the hater with the excuses that it happens to everyone, we get the crap calls go against us - blah blah. I am very glad we won, I was shouting for joy literally. That doesn't change my opinion of the call. I was totally surprised it held up but I am glad it did. To justify it and go into the hater mode is pretty childish don't you think. Sheez

Watch the play a few more times and look at what happens around the 12-13 yard line.

MSU has every right to be upset... If this happened to us tonight I would be livid too.

I was beginning to think after my earlier post that he may have just ran out. I watched a slow-mo replay and you can see right where you said the defender has his left arm fully extended in Reilly's chest/gut as they run down the sideline. Looks like he did force him out.

Players won in spite of coaches. Very happy for players, students and fans.

Haters gonna hate on the net.
Good call on the play. Defensive player forced him out.

BTN touched on the final TD play and the review on "The Final Drive." Waiting to see replay.

Bad call, but a game isn't defined by just one call. MSU allowed itself in that position. Nebraska had gotten itself to the 30 from their ten. And MSU laid down on their final drive. So they screwed themselves. Bad calls happen. Hey, did you see that herkie quarterback's TD today? That kid fumbled the ball before he hit the goal line and that was called a TD. It happens.

Actual Rule:

Eligibility Lost by Going Out of Bounds

ARTICLE 4. No eligible offensive receiver who goes out of bounds and returns in bounds during a down shall touch a legal forward pass while in the field of play or end zones or while airborne until it has been touched by an opponent or official (A.R. 7-3-4-I, II and IV). [Exception: This does not apply to an originally eligible offensive player who immediately returns inbounds after going out of bounds due to contact by an opponent (A.R. 7-3-4-III)]. If he touches the pass before returning in bounds, it is an incomplete pass (Rule 7-3-7) and not a foul for illegal touching.

There was contact. Therefore play stands as called. If found that there was no contact it would have been reversed.

No where does it say forced out or shoved out. Just reads contact which there was.

There was contact so it was a legal play. The game official ruled he was pushed out and the touchdown was good. The review and if it could of been overturned is moot. Your contention that it would of been reversed is only an opinion. What is not an opinion is it could of been reviewed... that's it.

I think many are taking the rule to mean that he has to be shoved out, doubt that is the case.. Calls we don't see all too often are usually the ones we think are bad calls. I'd probably be pissed if it was a call that lost us a game but I'd settle down after examining the rule.
