I want to be excited because he’s from my hometown. But I watched him play and spoke with some guys around the Gretna program. He has the frame. But needs to get aggressive. Hope the staff can unlock it in him.
That's the way I feel about Teddy Prochazka. He needs to get real aggressive and tough.
If anybody can light a fire under a kids ass it’s a Raiola.
Teddy is an animal compared to what I saw with Goldman. I hope he turns it out and proves me wrong.
Here’s to him being right and me being wrong.
A couple of the guys on one of the radio shows last week thought he was going to be a good college player. Said he’s continued to get better this year.

I thought the same thing about Mick S. a few years ago, fortunately I was wrong about him.
I played against Kim Baker from York back in the 70s. I wasn’t impressed. He turned in to a multi year starter and all Big 8 linebacker. 🥴
He needs to be a D Lineman. Then we can call him Goldman (Sacks) Sachs.
Same story with Hutmacher, too, despite his wrestling prowess. But he has shown progress.
I would love to be wrong here. Hope he does great for us. And I’ve definitely been wrong before.
Umm, there was ZERO aggression and toughness on the OL. Prochazka may have been a bright spot for us but unfortunately he got hurt early on.
I’ll give anybody new that’s coming the benefit of the doubt. Anybody new coming in will get early playing time because what started last year absolutely sucked!
Happy to keep some local talent.

Development is the key for all of the newbies (and most of the returners). Going forward Husker teams will have the coaching that they haven’t had for at least the past 10 years and the opportunity to develop into the best player that they can be!
As I’ve said a few times…blood tests. If below 800 Free T….no offer. Will lack aggression.
Gretna will be interesting to watch the next few years. Papio FB all but died when PS opened. Elk High has not been the same since ES and now EN.
Get them on campus then figure out where you can get them on the field.
