I checked the historical evidence of creighton volleyball.

They are not “right there” in volleyball. Basketball, sure. But even then, every now and then we beat creighton. The volleyball team has never beaten Nebraska.

Went 5 sets this year, and no disrespect to them because they are a great team, but they are still light years behind the Huskers.

I’ve never seen you or anyone else start an entire thread celebrating Stanford being knocked out of the tournament, but whatever. Most Nebraskans hate everything Texas because of football and I stand by that.

Great win for the women last night. Tough path to a title with so many familiar faces in the way but I guess if it was easy, it wouldn’t be worth chasing.

It’s simple. It is bad for Husker volleyball and Husker basketball for Creighton to be a real national power in those sports. What has always made Husker sports unique is that there are no other major sports schools in the State. It is Husker sports or nothing. I never want to see Creighton challenge Husker sports in anything.
