That was definitely BIG GIRL volleyball!! I'm no expert but I think Creighton looks much improved compared to when the Huskers beat them earlier this season.

I love that Creighton ruined the Longhorn's chance at a three-peat!

It’s simple. It is bad for Husker volleyball and Husker basketball for Creighton to be a real national power in those sports. What has always made Husker sports unique is that there are no other major sports schools in the State. It is Husker sports or nothing. I never want to see Creighton challenge Husker sports in anything.

I assure, Nebraska has never competed with Creighton in volleyball. And vice Versa is true for basketball. They play once a year and neither relies on local talent to be good. There is room in both sports for them to both be good. And no one actually cares about either one in the grand scheme of things. We only Texas because of football. Their volleyball team would get 1/10th of the hate from us if Texas didn’t have a football team. It’s all about football.

I checked the historical evidence of creighton volleyball.

They are not “right there” in volleyball. Basketball, sure. But even then, every now and then we beat creighton. The volleyball team has never beaten Nebraska.
