Came across this and thought it was interesting...
Nebraska
The big name at the Nebraska Pro Day is, of course, Randy Gregory. Gregory weighed in at 238 pounds, slightly larger than the 235 he weighed at the combine.
Ameer Abdullah, MVP of the Senior Bowl, was also in action at Nebraska's Pro Day, and improved tremendously on his Combine 40 yard dash with a 4.50 second dash. By all accounts, both Gregory and Abdullah shined in drills today, especially Gregory.
They both improved their stock today, and the Giants will be lucky to have either of these guys in Big Blue. Gregory stated that he felt "comfortable" as a linebacker and the Minnesota Vikings worked with him extensively at that spot. The Vikings are a 4-3 team, so it's something that the Giants could also consider if they draft the stud edge rusher.
As for Ameer Abdullah, his improved 40 yard dash time will likely move him up a few ticks and he's squarely in the early round 2 conversation. Some have even thought about him going in the early round 1.
