Getting to Ryan Field for the Northwestern game

Does anyone have any advice on getting from the Crown Plaza out by O'Hare to Ryan Field? I will have my car, but I don't particularly want to drive in Chicago traffic. Is there a convenient place to do a park-and-ride? I looked into a bus that is leaving from the Husker bar Kirkwood, but tickets are sold out. Any advice is appreciated.
