When NU was a perennial top 10 program, each year the line was made up of mainly 4th and 5th year players. Frost has mentioned how important it will be for our program to get old and stay old. In Frost's first two seasons, over half of the starting OLine had been in the program for 3 years or less. Also if you look at programs like Wisconsin and Iowa, they almost always have "old", developed, OLines who exceed the expectation of their high school recruiting rankings.
If the B1G cancels our season completely and there is no football in the spring, we may finally have a chance to catch up to other successful OLine programs.
I have posted our potential depth chart if 2020 is skipped. I have also posted our depth chart if 2020 is played. You can compare both potential scenarios to the OLines we've had in Frost's first two seasons.
