quite the opposite, my friend. there have been zero (0) instances of guys sitting out and having their stock drop.

players whose draft stock is at its peak should sit out. at least until college players can collectively bargain to make games more meaningful to participate in.

as long as stuff like this goes on, players should also treat college football as a business and do what's best for themselves and their families.

sometimes, that means not playing.

Newman was expected to have a Russell Wilson transferring to Wisconsin type impact on the Georgia offense this year. The Bulldogs have depth, especially since fellow stud transfer and former USC starter JT Daniels was granted immediate eligibility, but Newman was supposed to be the guy in Athens and this is major news as a result.

Not a great idea. Never heard of this kid. He could raise his stock by playing. He hurts it by being mentally fragile and not playing. You setiously wany that guy on your team? The guy you want is dying to get out there and play college football and show what he's got

If B1G votes no Fields can go back to UGA and be immediately eligible. OSU president had a lot of eye opening about not getting to compete for NC and Heismann and the amount of talent that could leave Columbus early.
