Huskers (8-4) take down the Jaguars (11-4) to win their 7th of the last 9 games after storming back from deficits of 4-0 (1st inning) and 6-1 (3rd inning) by exploding for 10 runs across the 5th and 6th innings. Nebraska is now a perfect 3-for-3 in their three series over Grand Canyon (3-1), College of Charleston (3-0) and South Alabama (2-1).
In the 5th: Garrett Anglim RBI double, bases-loaded walk and then Rhett Stokes' hot bat with a two-run single tied it at 6.
In the 6th: Cole Evans' two-run double and a pair of RBI singles by Anglim and Dylan Hufft sets up Dylan Carey for the big one: a two-run HR to left field for the 12-6 lead.
Nebraska survives five errors – FIVE – behind that offensive explosion and 14 combined strikeouts fired by Husker pitchers, including 7 thrown by Mason McConaughey (1-2) who earns the win in relief. (3.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB on 47 pitches)
Rhett Stokes, have yourself a weekend. Nebraska's 9-hole hitter went 3-for-4 in every game of the series to finish with nine hits (including four doubles: two on Friday, two today), five RBI and a run scored. He raised his season average to .455 with his 9-for-12 run in the series.

Nebraska (8-4) takes on South Alabama (11-4) on the baseball diamond looking to start 3-for-3 in their series this season after going 3-1 at Grand Canyon and 3-0 at College of Charleston. Jags blasted 4 HRs in Game 1 on Friday en route to an 11-3 win. Huskers responded right back with 4 HRs of their own in Game 2 on Saturday and got a gem from Brett Sears to take a 13-2 win.
